Frequently asked questions
Which Dodge model has the most NHTSA complaints in this snapshot?
Dodge Durango has the highest owner-report count among published Dodge nameplates (13,430 complaints). That is a count, not a ranking of reliability.
What is the difference between a complaint and a recall?
A complaint is an owner report filed with NHTSA. A recall is a manufacturer safety campaign. YearTell shows both and does not treat a complaint total as a defect finding.
Does YearTell score Dodge reliability?
No. Counts are not adjusted for how many vehicles were sold. Read the methodology for what these numbers cannot tell you.
